Discovering Jazz
It’s time to jazz things up around here!
The month of April is celebrated worldwide as Jazz Appreciation Month. Kickstart the celebrations by joining us for an introductory session to the intriguing world of jazz in collaboration with BIC. We will explore many facets of this popular African-American art form, including the various styles, history and major contributors to its development.
Conducted by Professor Vern Sielert , Director of Jazz Studies at the University of Idaho, this online conversation is part of a series of talks that will explore music genres around the world. We are sure you wouldn’t want to miss this out!
